Adapter 14/7/7 is used to couple the tractor unit (truck) to the trailer/semi-trailer when the truck has a VBG 14-pin connector system and the trailer has a 24N/24S system in accordance with ISO 1185/ISO 3731. The SAL (Sealed and Locked) connectors are therefore fitted with a lock hook and special seals.
